New Server Park
The reliability, speed and safety of our Webcentives® programmes is partly thanks to our splinter new, scaleable server park, which is located in a state-of-the-art data centre in Amsterdam.
Sparco considers it to be its duty to continue to invest in its server park. We do this in order to guarantee the quality that our clients are accustomed to receiving from us and to be prepared for the future. We guarantee optimal performance of your online programme, both now and in the future.
After all, you don't want your savings or loyalty programme to be unavailable or for it to function slowly. This server park is maintained by an external specialised organisation, together with our own IT specialists.
The server park uses a SAN (Storage Area Network), a separate network that is used for super-fast storage of all websites and databases. The SAN is redundant, and a daily back-up is made. The entire server park is protected by hardware firewalls.
Equipping the Sparco server park:
• load-balanced webservers on which the Webcentives websites, software and Content Management Systems run. The servers alternate with one another, so that website visits are divided between the systems. Via a router, the visitor is automatically led to your programme on the server with the best performance at that time.
• Separate data-servers which hold the data of the participants in our programmes. These servers are one another's fail-over, in other words, that if a server does not function, another server takes over that server's functions. Furthermore, database-related tasks are divided between the servers for optimal performance.
